Application:Suitable for welding corrosion-resistant stainless steel structures operating below 300℃, such as 06Cr19Ni9, 06Cr19Ni11Ti and similar grades.
Characteristics:A rutile-coated Cr18Ni9 stainless steel electrode. Usable with both AC and DC and suitable for all-position welding. It delivers excellent welding performance with stable arc, low spatter, easy slag removal and smooth weld appearance. The deposited metal features good resistance to intergranular corrosion.
Welding Positions:PA, PB, PD, PF
Precautions:
1. Bake the electrodes at 320–350℃ for 1 hour before use, and use immediately after baking.
2. Thoroughly remove rust, oil, moisture and other contaminants from the workpiece before welding.
3. DC power supply is recommended. When using AC, penetration is shallower; do not apply excessive current to avoid coating overheating and cracking.
4. Minimize heat input and keep electrode weaving within a narrow range.
5. Maintain preheat and interpass temperature below 150℃.
