ER308

Application:It is used for the welding of materials such as 12Cr18Ni9 (SUS302) and 06Cr19Ni10 (SUS304).
Characteristics:This welding wire is a 21%Cr-10%Ni austenitic stainless steel welding wire, featuring stable welding arc, beautiful weld formation and suitability for all-position welding.
Precautions:
1. Impurities such as rust, oil stains and moisture on the weldment must be thoroughly removed before welding.
2. It is recommended to use Ar+(1%-3%)O₂ as the shielding gas for MIG welding, and pure Ar for TIG welding.
3. Users shall formulate appropriate welding procedures for actual production according to specific working conditions.

ER309

Application:It is used for the welding of ultra-low carbon 24-13 type stainless steel for pressure vessels.
Characteristics:It is a special alkaline sintered flux for stainless steel, and the weld metal has excellent intergranular corrosion resistance and mechanical properties.
Precautions:
1. Welding heat input directly affects the mechanical properties of weld metal. Before use, users shall conduct procedure qualification according to their own welding conditions and formulate appropriate welding procedures.
2. Impurities such as rust, oil stains and moisture on the welding surface must be removed before welding.
3. The flux shall be baked for 1-2 hours before use (baking temperature: 300-350℃ for sintered flux, 200-250℃ for fused flux); the welding wire shall be clean, free of oil, rust and moisture before use.
